For 25 years Patrick Burke has been on a search for perfection in the construction of the guitar.

His craftsmanship benefits from a lifetime of playing, studying and teaching the guitar. Before becoming a guitar maker he studied with masters such as José Tomas, Leo Brouwer and Manuel Barrueco, gave numerous recitals, taught the guitar at Rhodes University in South Africa and recorded for American Gramophone Records.

Detailed observations of the work of leading makers from Torres to the present day have led Patrick to develop three distinct styles of guitar, the “Granada”, “Madrid” and “Avant-Garde” Series, each with its own characteristic beauty of sound.
